We like to introduce to you a real novelty, the amazing hama® FD-500 "MagicCube" Mini Vibration Loudspeaker!

This extraordinary gadget does not work like any ordinary loudspeaker - it incorporates a new technological approach, a sophisticated vibration technology, without any moving parts! It uses any flat, fixed surface as a resonating body that can transfer vibrations. It is a miracle of sound while being very compact and able to fit in any pocket.

"Normal" loudspeakers have a lot of drawbacks: the diaphragm material should be stiff, light, and well damped, but all of these criteria cannot be met; it is not possible to combine high efficiency with compact enclosure size; the sound is fading with distance to the loudspeaker - to name a few - not so with the FD-500 "Magic Cube"!

The hama® FD-500 avoids all these drawbacks, having no diaphragm and not needing a special enclosure.
It is a resonance based Sound system, all even, fixed flat surfaces can be used as resonant body, it functions on all rigid bases and gives a well-balanced sound reproduction (100Hz-20kHz).

Turn Your Table into a Speaker!

Nearly the same size as the well-known Rubik's Cube, this little cube (2½"x2½"x2¼"), with its integrated digital amplifier inside a robust aluminum housing, offers 20 watts of true RMS! A standard 2.5mm jack connects to any sound-source with headphone connector, such as CD-player, iPod, or any other MP3-player. The FD-500 package comes with Audio cable (2.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack), Infrared remote control and power supply unit.

People which see and hear this compact electro acoustic loudspeaker system are excited! Placing this little "Magic Cube" on a table results in a room full of music (connected to the appropriate sound-source).
This Cube is particularly useful when traveling or wherever a speaker has to reach a lot of people such as during a presentation or at a seminar. In contrast to an individual speaker box, the sounds created by the vibrations come directly from the table and reach each listener sitting at the table at the same volume.

Just connect to a laptop, MP3 player or any other audio source with a 3.5mm stereo jack and turn up the volume. The integrated digital amplifier provides the necessary power while the sturdy aluminum housing can withstand small drops or impacts.
